What are quotas?
Quotas are an internal credit system used to handle post-delivery changes, small improvements, or optional Add-ons within your project - without needing to renegotiate the contract or issue new invoices for every small task.
They act as a flexible currency between you and our team, giving you room for adjustments without delays, paperwork, or billing confusion.
Quotas are especially helpful because even with the most detailed Technical Specification, it’s not always possible to predict every minor need or tweak in advance.
How quotas work
- Once you confirm a project or milestone, you automatically receive a set number of quotas.
- You can use these quotas to request minor changes, improvements, or small Add-ons related to the delivered scope.
- Quotas let you request things that may not be written in the original scope, without paying extra, as long as you have enough available.
- The use of quotas requires our agreement - not every task may be eligible if it exceeds the available quota balance.
This system reduces time-consuming negotiations and keeps the workflow agile after delivery.
What can you use quotas for?
You can use quotas to:
- Fix or adjust UI details (e.g., padding, color tweaks)
- Add minor functional options (e.g., small filter changes, tooltips)
- Improve user experience (e.g., labels, default values, minor logic improvements)
- Receive additional short consultations or setup support
Quotas cannot be used for major changes, full redesigns, or additional modules beyond the agreed scope. In those cases, we would define a separate Add-on.
Using quotas as currency for Add-ons
If we agree to do additional work (beyond your original scope), you may also use quotas to partially or fully pay for that Add-on - if the task is within quota value range.
This gives you flexibility in negotiating extra work without always needing a new invoice.
Important notes
- The number of quotas for each project or milestone is determined by us (the seller).
- Each task will have an assigned “quota cost,” which we will communicate clearly before doing the work.
- Unused quotas expire after a defined period (usually 30 days post-milestone) - see the Technical Specification or Terms of Service for details.
In summary
- Quotas are internal credits that let you request small improvements without extra cost
- You receive quotas after confirming a milestone
- Quotas can be exchanged for approved improvements or Add-ons
- The seller determines how many quotas are issued and what they can be used for
- This system gives you flexibility and faster access to post-delivery adjustments
